We are seeking experienced candidates for a Strategic Sourcing Commodity Lead role in support of Honeywell Aerospace Raw & Formed Metals / Stampings / Sheet Metal / Fasteners / Plastics / Packaging. This position will be based in Tempe, Arizona.
This position will report the Director of Strategic Sourcing. This role will manage this commodity for Aerospace, including support of ITAR requirements. This role will engage heavily cross-functionally internally with Supplier Transitions, Marketing, Design Engineering, NPI Sourcing, Finance and other functions.
+ Manage these commodities and suppliers comprehensively as a Subject Matter Expert in Aerospace global supply.
+ Manage metals and raw materials pricing locks / agreements.
+ Drive a Commodity Strategy based on market, technology, cost structures, performance and capacity expertise.
+ Drive the Commodity Strategy and be responsible for execution of the commodity from product introduction to end of life while driving KPIs.
+ Own cost reduction projects and project management / tracking / execution to achieve annual goals.
+ Annual plan development and cost reduction projects to support plan.
+ Own reporting to management at Executive levels on performance, projects, etc.
+ Support development and implementation of the sourcing strategies to achieve lowest total cost, improve working capital, achieve on-time delivery, improve cycle time, and ensure early supplier involvement in product development.
+ Lead strategic supplier management and drive supplier performance across all metrics including cost, delivery, working capital, lead-time.
+ Manage the commodity and support Operations / ISC production requirements in support of Procurement and other functions.
+ Manage contracts from initiation to implementation and to meet Aerospace requirements.
+ Understand and drive supplier selection, preferred supply base, supplier strategies.
+ Drive supplier relationships and engagement in support of Honeywell / Aerospace objectives.
+ Align with business on supply base requirements.
+ Create a competitive supply base.
+ Lead global teams and initiatives.
YOU MUST HAVE:
+ Bachelor's degree
+ 3+ years of Sourcing, Procurement, Supply Chain or Commodity experience
+ Experience using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
+ Due to contractual requirements, all applicants must be US Citizens
+ MBA or other Masters’ degree preferred, emphasis in operations and supply chain preferred
+ Demonstrated success in the management and knowledge of Aerospace Antennas and / or other commodities
+ Experience in all or multiple categories this role is responsible for, ideally in Aerospace. (Raw & Formed Metals / Stampings / Sheet Metal / Fasteners / Plastics / Packaging)
+ Global experience in Aerospace Strategic Sourcing, Strategic Sourcing, Global Commodity Management or related field
+ Direct Factory and Project Sourcing supply management experience
+ Developed & executed successful supply strategies
+ CIPS, APICs and/or CPM or equivalent certification
+ Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
+ Experience in multiple industries
