The ideal candidate would have 2-5 years of experience.Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:Set up, change, and change over metal stamping dies per production scheduleSet up specific part programs and parameters for metal stamping presses, feed lines, and dies using the companyis standard practices and proceduresPerform quality checks according to the companyis procedures to verify die set up prior to production runFix broken punches or sections of dies in the press or die shopInitiate work orders for dies going into triage rack or die shop for repairsTroubleshoot issues and identify the cause of errors, problems, and defectsSet up and operate line according to production specificationsInspect equipment before and monitor equipment during production.i Confirm that it is working properly by checking process parameters and indicators.Examine work pieces for defects and measure work pieces with fixtures or templates to ensure conformance with specificationsReport production quantities accurately and according to the companyis recording processTroubleshoot mechanical issues and identify the cause of errors, problems and defectsOperate material handling equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, overhead crane, etc to move raw material and parts as neededAble to lift up to 50lbsPerform other duties as required or assigned by supervisorFollow all OSHA and internal safety standardsQualificationsExperience with standard shop measuring tools and hand tools requiredExceptional attendance record requiredExperience operating automated metal stamping presses requiredAbility to lift up to 50lbsAbility to perform standard shop computations (math)Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and standard work instructionsAbility to perform basic maintenance of equipmentAbility to read, understand, follow and enforce safety proceduresAbility to make administrative/procedural decisions and judgments as well as work within a team environmentAdditional InformationPhoenix Stamping Group, LLC offers a drug-free work place along with a competitive salary and benefits package.
