As a fabricator, you will work from patterns and blueprints, using a variety of tools and machines to make metal parts and assemble components. + Form metal parts using press brake + Cut parts using shear press + Work from process sheets, blueprints or other written/verbal instructions given by supervisor to perform production tasks + Maneuver large, awkward, or heavy parts manually or with a crane + Inspect welds throughout process and use grinding tools when necessary + Maintain machine and work area in a clean and safe manner + Check and inspect operation against predetermined tolerances + Work in other areas or departments as assigned + Shift Hours: Monday - Friday 6:00 am - 3:30 pm To perform this job successfully, you must be able to report daily to the company's Danielsville, PA plant, to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. We are looking for a committed and reliable individual who has prior experience in a production environment and mechanical aptitude. + Fab Shop related experience in a manufacturing environment + Ability to read blueprints and work orders to complete parts + Experience with shear and/or press brake is preferred + Experience with ironworkers + Experience with grinding tools and machines preferred + Experience with tack welding is a plus + Simple oral communication skills; ability to read and comprehend instructions written in English and complete simple logs and reports in English + Must be physically able to handle heavy items, including lifting, pushing, pulling, and positioning components + Must be able to work scheduled hours and comply with the company's timekeeping policy and all other company policies + Must be able to stand for an entire 9-hour shift consistently + Knowledge of basic machining practices and materials is a plus, as is general mechanical knowledge + Ability to work in a team setting + Accuracy + Reliability Qualifications Education Required + High School or better Experience Required + 1 year: Reading blueprints + 1 year: Metal Fab
